Rep. Rothman Meets with Korean Ambassador to the United States

Rep. Rothman and Ambassador Tae-Silk Lee

(Washington, DC)- On Tuesday, June 13, Congressman Steve Rothman (D-NJ) met with the Honorable Tae-Silk Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, in his Washington, DC office. They discussed political and security developments on the Korean peninsula, including the human rights violations and nuclear posturing of North Korean leader Kim Il-Jung. Rothman, a member of the Congressional Korea Caucus, has monitored the situation in Korea since entering Congress and is a long-time supporter of strengthening U.S.-Korea relations. He is proud that his diverse congressional district includes the largest concentration (11%) of Asian-Americans in New Jersey.
