ROTHMAN STATEMENT HONORING VETERANS DAY

(Washington, DC) - Congressman Steve Rothman (D-Fair Lawn) today released the following statement honoring Veterans Day:

"Veterans Day is a day to remember and honor all those brave Americans who have served their country in our nation's armed forces. By gathering each November 11th to pay tribute to our veterans, we make certain to annually acknowledge our eternal gratitude to these American heroes. It is not only important to remember our nation's obligations to these brave men and women, but also to teach our children about the heroism that makes our freedom possible. With regards to veterans' services and healthcare, our nation bears a moral obligation to take care of our nation's servicemen and women. That is why, during my nearly nine years in Congress, I have been such a strong advocate for veterans."
