U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Honors Rothman for His Contribution to Fisheries and Habitat Conservation
(Washington, DC)— On Thursday, March 9, Congressman Steve Rothman (D-NJ) received the “Fisheries and Habitat Conservation Partnership Government Award.” This honor reflects Rothman’s work to preserve and protect the Hackensack Meadowlands.
“I am very grateful to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for this honor. I consider it a privilege to fight to preserve critical areas of open space for this and future generations. I look forward to continuing my efforts to cleanup the Meadowlands and make a Meadowlands Environmental Park a reality,” said Rothman.
