Rep. Rothman Speaks at NORPAC Training Session
(Englewood, NJ)— On Sunday, May 7, 2006, Congressman Steve Rothman discussed current foreign policy issues that impact Israel during a NORPAC Training Session held at the Moriah School in Englewood, New Jersey. The issues raised included the withholding of all U.S. aid to the Hamas-led Palestinian government, Iran's aggressive efforts to obtain nuclear weapons, and the U.S.'s annual foreign assistance package for Israel.
NORPAC hosted the event in anticipation of the organization's "Mission to Washington" where NORPAC activists lobby Members of Congress about foreign policy issues that affect the U.S.-Israel relationship. At the end of the event, Congressman Rothman met with local high school and middle school students who attended the training session.
