Moriah Middle School Students Hear From
Rep. Rothman on the Steps of the U.S. Capitol

(Washington, DC)— On Wednesday, June 14, ninety students from the Moriah Middle School in Englewood, New Jersey heard from Congressman Steve Rothman (D-NJ) on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC about his job. During a question-and-answer session, the students asked him about Iran's nuclear weapons program, the ongoing war in Iraq, and immigration. The Congressman also explained his work on the House Appropriations Committee, which makes recommendations about U.S. spending, including all foreign aid.
